If you''ve read our ADA-Compliant Products Overview, you'll know our SafetyWall ADA-Compliant Pedestrian Barricade complies with MUTCD standards as well as ADA Guidelines.
SafetyWall is a barricade that can be used as a sidewalk closure, or assembled to create an array of interlocking longitudinal channelizer devices.
As highlighted by the yellow line, SafetyWall's design does not contain obstacles that protrude into the walkway.
SafetyWall can be used as a single unit, to create sidewalk closures, OR in multiple units, to create continuous, interlocking, longitudinal channelizer arrays.
SafetyWall will protect pedestrians by providing continuous guidance through the work zone, and separation from the construction side of the work zone. Installers and users will find SafetyWall is an easy device with which to work.
Our device provides the same level of pedestrian guidance as concrete or plastic barrier, but is easier to transport, install and remove. Each SafetyWall weighs only 35 lbs and measures 74" long, 36" tall.
As shown left, SafetyWall is an interlocking device.
Just as no tools or moving equipment are needed to transport and unload SafetyWall, no tools are needed to install a SafetyWall array.
Simply start at one end, and interlock one SafetyWall after the other.
Made from HDPE plastic (high density polyethylene) with UV inhibitors, for longer life.
